— The Pea Ridge Cross Country team traveled to Siloam Springs to compete in the Panther Cross Country Classic last week.

The boys placed fifth overall in the 5K run, with a time of 1:40:04, and third overall in the 3,200-meter run, with a time of 1:10:02.

In the 5K, runner Colby Schooley led the group with 11th place and a time of 19:21:50. He was followed by 12th place ColtonHoltgrewe, 19:24:42. Other team members times were Dakota Woodward, 19th, 20:07:40; Levi Roughton, 20th, 20:12:37; Dalton Fisher, 29th, 20:58:65;

Briar Sample, 45th, 22:17:31;

Ethan Higgins, 56, 23:11:21;

Clayton Roughton, 59, 23:48:34, and Ryan Roughton, 64th, with a time of 25:02:59.

The 3,200 meter race brought Austin Easterling in at seventh place with a time of 12:59:44. BraxtonCaudill, 13th, had a time of 13:35:56, followed by Dalton Morgan, 16th, 13:55:85; Dayton Winn, 20th, 14:38:41;

Camron Tidwell, 26th, 14:52:79; Daniel Beard, 27th, 14:55:57; Brett Germaine, 44th, 19:07:19 and Zachary Rogers, 52nd, with a time of 24:36:22.

The girls competed in the 3,200-meter run. They came in 10th overall, out of 23 teams, with a time of 1:18:26.

Mikhaela Cochran ledthe girls with a finish in 15th place and a time of 14:42:62. She was followed by Rilee Patrick, 32nd, 14:55:91; Afton Danner, 51st, 15:21:88; Audrey Gibson, 65th, 15:50; Michaela Tuszynski, 138th, 17:36:15;

Autumn Brewer, 166th, 18:17:68; Autumn Galvin, 187th, 19:24:06; Brittany Wilcutt, 193rd, 19:47:06;

Hannah Pearson, 215th, 21:06:97 and 216th place Natalie Cordoza with a time of 21:09:12.
