Whitaker to run for Congress

— David Whitaker, an attorney from Fayetteville, spoke at Monday’s Benton County Democratic Women's Club meeting, informing them of his candidacy Whitaker for Congress from Arkansas’ 3rd District. Whitaker told the club his personal history, extensive education and career experiences (military and governmental, domestic and overseas) which he says qualify him to serve as the 3rd District’s congressman.

Whitaker said the incumbent seems to have left many of the citizens in this district feeling under-represented, especially when it comes to transportation improvements. He said there are business opportunities which have not been pursued for the district during these past seven years.

Whitaker announced the launch of his campaign Web site at www. whitakerforcongress. com . HOLIDAY EVENTS
