Something interesting about me is: I live on a farm. We have five horses, three dogs and 12 cats. I am active in church and school projects. I have two living children and seven grandchildren.

Mon., Nov. 16 - BBQ sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans, frozen fruit bar.Breakfast - French toast.

Tues., Nov. 17 - Nachos with ground beef, salsa, seasoned pinto beans, strawberry cups.Breakfast - Chicken biscuit.

Wed., Nov. 18 - Salisbury steak, brown gravy, garden salad, baked potato, Italian bread.Breakfast - Pizza bagel.

Thurs., Nov. 19 - Grilled cheese, vegetable soup, crackers, pickle, peaches.Breakfast - Oatmeal with toast.

Fri., Nov. 20 - Pizza, salad, corn, cookie.Breakfast - Biscuit and gravy.

Salad bar and ala carte offered in junior high and high school. Milk served with all meals. All breakfasts are $1. Elementary and upper elementary lunches are $1.50; junior high and senior high lunches are $1.75.

Thurs., Nov. 19 - Turkey roast, corn bread dressing, gravy, green beans, holiday fruit salad, roll, spice cake with icing, milk.

Fri., Nov. 20 - Pizza, breadsticks, side salad, fruit cup, chocolate pudding, milk. Choice No. 2: Charburger.

FUNDRAISER FOR AP TRIP

Students are raising money for the fourth annual Pea Ridge High School advanced placement biology/science Trip of a Lifetime planned for Custer State Park, South Dakota. Sites to be visited include Mount Rushmore, Crazyhorse Monument, the Badlands and Devils Tower.

Over the past three years, students from Pea Ridge AP science classes have visited the Grand Canyon (2006-2007), Gulf Shores, Ala.

(2007-2008) and Durango,Colo. (2008-2009).

Fundraising events currently include selling 50/50 tickets at home basketball games, a winter ball to be held for Pea Ridge High School students and a pancake breakfast held April 3 at Applebee’s restaurant in Rogers.

Local businesses and organizations have donated to the trip in the past, according to sponsors, including Arvest Bank and Pea Ridge Optimist Club.
