Competitive baseball tryouts

The Pea Ridge Rattlers 9-year-old boys competitive USSSA baseball team will hold open tryouts for the 2010 season from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Pea Ridge youth baseball fields.

Eligible players cannot be 10 years of age prior to May 1, 2010.

The evaluation is skills based and set up by the Competitive Baseball Coordinator. Pitching skills are very desirable for competitive baseball due to the number of games played. The following skills will be evaluated: hitting, infielding, outfielding, running, pitching and catching.

Bowling leagues now forming at Fast Lane Entertainment in Rogers include: Mondays in Mudtown Mixed Senior League USBC sanctioned, $5.95/wk includes lunch with a portion to be donated to the youth league scholarship fund.
