— James Wilbur Collins

James Wilbur Collins, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.

He was born June 30, 1935, in Newton County, Ark., to Charlie Monroe Collins and Mary Ophelia Day Collins.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Collins; and two sisters, Verna Noe and June Sidle.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Collins of the home; two daughters, Peggy Byrd and husband, Kenneth, and Lisa Plunkett and husband, Ronnie, all of Garfield; three brothers, Charles Collins of Western Grove, Ark., Eddie Collins of Marrinette, Wisc., Joe Kenneth Collins of Belfonte, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, Nov. 7, at Sisco funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridgewith brother Tommy Henson officiating.

Burial was at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.

Constance M. ‘Connie’ Hoskins

Constance M. “Connie” Hoskins, 72, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Nov. 6, 2009, at her home. She was born on April 15, 1937, in Omaha, Neb., to Tom Mackey and Doris Erickson Mackey.

She was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church and active in the Henderson Golf Group.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Allen Hoskins; one son, Allen Keith Hoskins and wife, Connie, of Pea Ridge; one brother; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Nov. 9 in the Bella Vista Community Church.

Hildred Nadine McDaniel

Hildred Nadine McDaniel, 87, of Benton County, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2009, at Integris Bass Medical Center in Enid, Okla. She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Benton County to Lee and Maggie Bishop Guyll.

She grew up and attended Garfield school near Rogers, Ark., later moving to Washington state and finally to Garber, Okla., in 1955. She was married to M.E. McDaniel. She worked as a cook at a restaurant in Garber. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.E. McDaniell; a son, Gary McDaniel; three brothers, Wade Guyll, Jack Guyll and Gus Guyll; and a sister, Phyllis Bosley.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Coleene McHendry of Enid, and Brenda McDaniel of Garber; and a grandson, James McHendry of Seattle, Wash.

Graveside funeral services were held Nov. 5 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Rogers.

Arrangements were by Anderson Funeral Home in Garber.

Ader McIver

Ader McIver 87, of Rogers, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at a local health carefacility.

She was born April 24, 1922, in Des Arc, Ark., to George Arnett and Myrtle Cummings Arnett.

Ader enjoyed gardening, fishing, yard sales and was an excellent seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joe McIver; four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry McIver and hiswife, Cathy, and Danny McIver and his wife, Kathy, all of Avoca; a daughter, Betty Spears, and her husband, Fred, of Rogers; a sister, Mary Stivers of Judsonia, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov.

11, at Bentonville Cemetery.

Jeremy Garey Stacy

Jeremy Garey Stacy, 25, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Aug. 29, 1984, in Springdale, Ark., to Eric and Marcell Stacy.

Jeremy was a cattle farmer in Pea Ridge who loved to hunt, fish, and, above all, spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Harry and EvelynGarey; his grandparents, Melvin “Pete” and Dorothy Belle Stacy; and three uncles, Arien Stacy, Curtis “Burger” Stacy and Robert “Bubbie” Stacy.

Survivors include his wife, Nickie Stacy; three children, Cameo, Connor, and Melyia; his parents, Eric and Marcell Stacy of Pea Ridge; a sister, Courtney Stacy of Pea Ridge; his grandparents, Billy and Janet Williams of Pea Ridge; and uncles and aunts, Tim and Debbie Farrar of Springdale, Sue Goats of Gravette, Ark., Ricky and Michelle Stacey of Decatur, Ark., Linda and Dean Denny of Colcord, Okla., Darrell and Cindy Stacy of Decatur, and Randy Stacy of Fayetteville, Ark.

Graveside services were held Nov. 5 at Parks Cemetery in Winslow, Ark., with pastor Sam Whatley officiating.

Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
