Planners hold public hearings

PEA RIDGE — The Pea Ridge Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Pea Ridge City Hall.

Two public hearings will precede the meeting.

The first is to hear public comment on Sylvie Bowerman’s request to put a mobile home on her property on the end of Barris Lane. The request has been discussed at both the City Council and Planning Commission meetings in November, but had to be postponed to provide the required public notice.

A rezoning request for 501 S.

Curtis Ave. from R-1 to C-1 is also on the agenda. That property is owned by Chris Ankeny.

New business will include the re-election of officers to the Planning Commission.
