Johnson graduates

— SEARCY - Elizabeth Johnson of Pea Ridge was among more than 350 students who received diplomas at commencement exercises at Harding University in Searcy, Ark., Dec. 19.

Johnson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design .

The ceremonies were held in Benson Auditorium with Arkansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Jim Hannah as the featured speaker. Harding president David B. Burks presented diplomas to all graduates

Harding had a record enrollment this year of more than 6,600 students from all 50 states and 49 foreign countries. It is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France/Switzerland, Greece, Italy and Zambia.
