— Incidents reported this week to the Pea Ridge Police Department include: Monday, Dec. 21

5:14 p.m. Suspicious circumstances reported by a resident on Griffin Lane who seeing three boys come out of a construction storage trailer. During the investigation, police discovered broken windows on the trailer. Police confiscated a bicycle and two BB guns.

5:15 p.m. A two-vehicle accident in the parking lot at Pea Ridge Middle School involving vehicles driven by John Hargiss, 17, Rogers, and Melody Sorrell, 40, Garfield.

Tuesday, Dec. 22

6:15 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on N. Arkansas Hwy. 94 just south of S. Harvey Wakefield Street involving vehicles driven by Adam Freeman, 20, and Allison Parmenter, 30, both of Pea Ridge.

Friday, Dec. 25

10:52 a.m. A two-vehicle accident on N. Arkansas Hwy. 94 near the intersection with St. Clair Street involving vehicles driven by Jamie Sims, 22, Berryville, and Gregory Sikes, 39, of Bella Vista.There were no citations issued.

Saturday, Dec. 26

7:41 p.m. Investigating a disturbance at a residence on Rains Street, police arrested Nash Holliday, 27, Pea Ridge, for domestic battery III,obstructing governmental operations and interfering with law enforcement officers.

Sunday, Dec. 27

3 p.m. Received a report from a citizen that a stop sign and water hydrant had been struck at the intersection of McNair Street and Arkansas Hwy. 265.

The incident is under investigation.

Monday, Dec. 28

2:12 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on E. Arkansas Hwy. 72, the driver of a vehicle, Steven Taylor II, 21, of Terlaton, Okla., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.The passenger, Julienne Bergman, 21, of Elkins, Ark., was arrested for felony possession of prescription drugs. Both were transported to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, where Bergman was also charged with two additional felonies - furnishing prohibited articles and possession of a controlled substance - after being booked into the Benton County Jail.

10:33 p.m. A white male subject was walking on Slack Street in the ditch, was approached by police and identified him as Daniel Hutchek, 29, of East McNelly Road, Pea Ridge, who had a felony warrant for theft of property from Bentonville. He was arrested and transported to Bentonville Police Department.
