BENTON COUNTY — Kendall Wayne Oaks, 31, of Washburn, Mo., was arrested by Pea Ridge police Tuesday, Dec. 22, in connection with rape, a class Y felony.
Oaks was questioned after attending Pea Ridge court on a misdemeanorcharge.
According to police reports, police responded at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 2 to a call at aresidence on Wade Lane. Officers said a 27-yearold Fayetteville woman reported a sexual assault.
The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Oaks, police said.
Oaks is in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
