Monday, Dec. 14

9:30 a.m. Criminal mischief involving broken windows on a backhoe at a construction site at the school on Weston Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 15

1:08 a.m. A disturbance at a residence on N. Davis Street.Tenesha Mc-Ginley, 27,Tulsa, Okla., was arrested on outstanding warrants from Bentonville. 2 p.m. Unattended death, Jenks Court. 9 a.m. Burglary at a residence on Frost Street in which the back door was damaged and cash and various articles were taken.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

11:30 p.m. During a traffic stop on Hayes Street, Michael Sullivan, 51, Pea Ridge, was arrested on warrants from Lowell.

9:15 p.m. Arrested Joseph Campbell, 29, Pea Ridge, on felony warrants from Washington County at a residence on Hallack Street on an agency assist.

3 p.m. A report from parents of a 13-year-old male who came home from school ill after a visit to the hospital emergency room revealed a concentration of alcohol in his system. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that alcohol was taken to school by another 13-year-old male who gave the first boy the bottle of alcohol.The youth providing the alcohol was cited into juvenile court for a minor providing alcohol to another minor.

Friday, Dec. 18

9 .m. Received a report from the director of transportation for the schools that a bus driver was approached at a bus stop in Givens Subdivision by the father of a student and confronted. During the investigation, the bus driver revealed the man may have been threatening.The man, a 38-year-old male from a residence on O.D. Bancroft, when interviewed, said he did not intend to sound threatening but wanted to talk to the bus driver’s boss.

4:30 p.m. A dog bite involving a 4-year-old boy.The dog was picked up and quarantined. Police are attempting to locate the owner of the dog.

Saturday, Dec. 19

11:58 a.m. Burglary at Pea Ridge Outlet,W. Pickens Street.The front window on the door was broken out. Nothing appeared to be missing.

7 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on Ryan Road and Slack Street, arrested Brandon Rice, 19, Rogers, for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

A man was killed Monday afternoon after the car he was driving flipped in a one-vehicle accident on Gann Ridge Road.

Kevin L. Hamilton, 26, of Pea Ridge, was pronounced dead at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, according to Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident, reported about 3:10 p.m., blocked traffic along the narrow winding road for more than an hour. The white 1996 Toyota Corolla DX left the roadway after Hamilton failed to negotiate a lefthand curve and traveled along the grassy shoulder and a barbed-wire fence, bending fence posts and finally overturning.

Hamilton was not wearing his seat belt. Emergency personnel from VAS Ambulance and Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. Air Evac responded, but left without transporting the man, who was taken to Northwest Medical Center by VAS. NEBCO
