— Candy Grams

The PTO will be selling candy grams the week of Dec. 7-11.

Christmas concert

The Pea Ridge Schools Choral Department will present the annual Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in the high school cafeteria. Holiday music will be featured by the Middle and High school choirs. The concert will last 45 minutes.

Admission is free and thepublic is invited to share in the choirs’ celebration of the holiday season.

Food drive

Pea Ridge High School is holding a food drive through Friday, Dec. 11, sponsored by JAG, Jobs for Arkansas Graduates. Deliver non-perishable, kidfriendly foods to the high school office dedicating to which first hour class for them to compete for a pizza party. Everyone can makea change in the Pea Ridge community.

Holiday cards for sale

The Pea Ridge Middle School Art Department still has 10 sets of holiday cards for sale. The cards were handmade by a seventh and eighth grade art class. Fifteen cards and envelopes sell for $7.50. Contact Mrs.

Bruhin if you are interested. All money raised will support the middle school PTO.

Mon., Dec. 7 - Cheeseburger, French fries, fresh apple wedge.

Breakfast - French toast.

Tues., Dec. 8 - Chili with beans, cheese sticks, peach cup, wacky cake.Breakfast - Burrito.

Wed., Dec. 9 - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, roll. Breakfast - Pancake on a stick.

Thurs., Dec. 10 - Veggie soup, cheese sandwich, crispito, crackers.Breakfast - Cereal and toast.

Fri., Dec. 11 - Pizza, garden salad, apple slice, cookie.Breakfast - Biscuit with gravy.

Salad bar and ala carte offered in junior high and high school. Milk served with all meals.

All breakfasts are $1. Elementary and upper elementary lunches are $1.50; junior high and senior high lunches are $1.75.

Wed., Dec. 9 - Cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast with jelly, apple juice, milk.

Thurs., Dec. 10 - Cereal, pizza, assorted donuts, grape juice, milk.

Fri., Dec. 11 - Cereal, cinnamon toast, egg and cheese biscuit, orange juice, milk.

Kindergarten Lunch

Mon., Dec. 7 - Chicken nuggets, French fries, choice of fruit, milk. Snack: Baby carrots and celery with dressing.

Tues., Dec. 8 - Toasted cheese sandwich, chicken noodle soup, orange wedges, milk. Snack: Wacky cake.

Wed., Dec. 9 - Beef burrito, corn, garden salad, fruit, milk.

Snack: Fruit delight.

Thurs., Dec. 10 - Pork fritter, mashed potatoes with gravy, breaded okra, roll, milk. Snack: Choice of fruit.

Fri., Dec. 11 - Chicken on a bun, peas and carrots, fruit, milk.

Snack: Animal crackers.

Lunch Grades 1-5

(grades 4 and 5 get second option)

Mon., Dec. 7 - Chicken nuggets, French fries, baked beans, baby carrots and celery sticks with ranch, choice of fruit, milk. Choice No. 2: Smokehouse BBQ sandwich.

Tues., Dec. 8 - Toasted cheesesandwich, chicken noodle soup, garden salad with ranch, orange wedges, wacky cake, milk. Choice No. 2:Turkey and cheese on wheat.

Wed., Dec. 9 - Beef burrito, salsa, Spanish rice, corn, fruit, milk. Choice No. 2: Max snax, cheesy con queso.

Thurs., Dec. 10 - Pork fritter, mashed potatoes with gravy, breaded okra, roll, fruit, milk.

Choice No. 2: Charburger.

Fri., Dec. 11 - Pizza sticks with dipping sauce, peas and carrots, fruit, animal crackers, milk. Choice No. 2: Chicken on a bun.
