— Food Drive

The City of Pea Ridge will hold the 10th Annual Food Drive through Friday, Dec. 18. Last year, 130 families in need received food baskets.

Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 29, Pea Ridge, AR 72751, or dropped off at Pea Ridge Water Department at 821 Slack St., next to Dollar General.

Cash donations will be accepted, as well as traditional Christmas foods.

Food drive drop-off

The Northwest Arkansas Food Drive pickup days will be Mondays and Fridays through Dec. 23. The event is organized by Benton County Sheriff Keith Ferguson in cooperation with Marge Wolfe of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.

Drop-off locations in the area include:

• Oakview Animal Clinic, 14391 Dove Rd., Pea Ridge.

BUNKER HILL, Mo. — The monthly singing at Bunker Hill will be held starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. A regular group of musicians come to perform a variety of music. Anyone in the audience can also participate in the singing or bring along an instrument to play.

There is a potluck dessert bar and finger foods table set up for all to enjoy. Just bring your favorite things to share with others in attendance.

The Bunker Hill Community Club is also going to participate in the annual Santa Comes to Pineville. The event takes place in the school gymnasium. The club will be offering for sale a number of handmade items for Christmas presents which include baby blankets and a variety of quilts. This will also be a chance to buy raffle tickets for this year's quilt. The winner of this quilt will be announced this month so get your tickets purchased.
