— The Patriarchs

The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by Beth Moore will begin Sept. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Loft.

Awana program

Harvard Avenue Baptist Church will begin its Awana Program Aug. 26 from 6 to 7:45 p.m.

Awana is for children ages 3 ( toilet trained) through 6th grade.

Registration forms are available at the church office.

All children will be required to have a registration form completed by a parent/guardian before they leave their children at the church. For more information, call 524-5176.

Choir concert

Gum Springs Baptist Church will present a choir concert of praise and worship on Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Following the concert will be a smoked pork dinner.

Meyer coming to Antioch Church

Julie Meyer, a longtime worship leader, author, and songwriter at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Kan., will be in Siloam Springs Aug. 28,29, and 30. She has recorded several CDs, including Longing for the Day, Better Than Life, and her most recent release, Paint Your Picture.

She is also the author of Invitation to Encounter: A Journey in Dreams. She will be leading and teaching at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 and 29. She will also be speaking and leading worship at Antioch Church services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Aug. 30. Admission is free.

FBC Heart Life Salad Supper

Ladies, toss together your favorite salad and join the FBC women at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 in the Fellowship Hall. Deborah Sisco will have a message called "Sister, Sister: Delighting in our Differences!"

Awana club resumes

Awana clubs will be starting Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Classes are offered for age 3 through 6th grade, and youth class for 7th grade and up. For more information or if you need a ride, call Missionary Baptist Church of Colcord at (918)326-9716.

FBC Bible Studies

Genesis: Age-Old Stories for Modern-Day Living Bible study for women will begin Sept. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m., in Fellowship Hall.

This study will include a time for fellowship, prayer, worship, interactive teaching, and small group sharing.

A nursery will be provided for preschool children and infants and a Bible study for home-school children from 9 to 10 a.m., and study hall from 10 to 11 a.m.
