OVER THE LIMIT, UNDER ARREST CAMPAIGN

Benton County Sheriff Keith Ferguson announced today that his deputies, as well as the DWI Task Force, will be participating in the national "Over the Limit, Under Arrest" campaign again this year. This first weekend will include checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout Benton County and will continue through the Labor Day weekend.

The national event will start Aug. 21 and run through Sept. 7, with attention focused on the last summer holiday, back to school activities and popular party spots.

Sheriff Ferguson has indicated deputies will continue to patrol the streets, roads and highways of Benton County throughout the year to ensure our citizens have a safe place in which to drive.
