Library Notes Library has books and a computer

— Summer is almost over! Our Summer Reading program ended on Thursday, July 30.

The party was at the Pea Ridge Park on Aug. 1. We had a good time and hope even more children will sign up next year. If I worked my camera correctly, there will be pictures in next week's paper. Watch for the winners.

We have had many donations lately. Thank you to all the people who have donated these good books. The library welcomes most donations, except for World Books, Encyclopedias, any books of that sort. We simply do not have room for multiple sets of these fine books. For most school reports, children use the computer.

Speaking of computers, the public computer has been very busy lately. If you want to use it, I suggest that you call for a reservation. That ensures you will be able to use the computer at the time you requested.

The library has many great new books, both for adults and children. Come by and "check" them out.

Library hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, closed at noon for lunch. (The librarian has to go visit her grandson, Zeke, for an hour; trust me, I'll be much happier after 1.) The library phone is 451-8442.

See you soon!
