Appreciate columnists

To the editor:

Each week we look forward to receiving the newspaper, but I have been particularly touched and wowed by the recent article by Allen Merritt, "At what cost should I defend the constitution?" It revealed a great depth of character, wisdom and determination. All his writings reflect a brave, Christian, patriotic soul. I say well done! I know a lot of true Christian patriots' names will be on that list with yours.

Also, kudos to Mark Moore, whose articles continually unearth things that many of us would never glean from our readings, nor ever hear about.

He is accurate, well-informed and humorous at the same time. Keep up the good watch, and thank you for alerting your readers to critical ethical and illegal ruses going on right under our noses, ruses that are often hidden in plain sight.
