LITTLE FLOCK, Ark. — Senator Blanche Lincoln will be the keynote speaker at the Annual Democratic Rally (known as the Little Flock Picnic Rally) Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Samaritan Community Center, 1211 West Hudson Rd., Rogers.
Doors will open at 4:45 p.m.
for a silent auction and catered casual dinner.
Sen. Lincoln will speak at 5:30, followed by Democratic National Committee Woman Krystal Thrailkill and Arkansas Democratic Party director Todd Turner.
Dinner tickets are $10 and should be reserved in advance. Call Charles at 636-1392, Carole at 876-2178, Thurman at 636-0059, or Bill at 636-4195 to purchase tickets. General admission tickets, available at the door, are $5 and include lemonade and watermelon.
Democratic Central Committee chairman Leroy Roberts encourages attendees to donate two cans of food for the Food Pantry at the Center. All Democrats in the region are welcome to attend and meet with the leadership of the Democratic Party in Arkansas and learn more about Democratic activities in Benton County.
